How to get ABS Fast

Hey guys! I am currently still sailing through the Mediterranean. We are having an amazing time. It has been utter chaos traveling with 10 people but I wouldn't have it any other way. But you would know that if you've been keeping up with me on Instagram right?  I've been trying to update as much as possible when I have service and WIFI. Something else that has also been fabulous is the food. I have been enjoying it a tad bit too much which is why I think I decided to share this post. Lord knows I will be doing all of this as soon as I get back to the States. 

Everyone wants abs especially those in the fitness industry. Abs are seen as the pinnacle of success. "If your abs are visible then you are shredded". Unfortunately, for some (like myself) abs are the last thing to show when dieting down and the first to go during an off season. Also keep in mind that women hold more fat then men since we are built to bear children. Usually for a woman's abs to be visible you have to get under 18% body fat; 10% for men. 

Many of you have heard the term: " Abs are made in the kitchen". This is true, but there is much more to abs than just food. If you don't have a basis for abs it won't matter how much you diet down. Here are some tips that can help you get visible abs. 

1- Lose bodyfat. About 1% of your weight per week. 

2- If your lean and don't see abs then do a building phase. 

          - Train core 1-3 x a week

          - You should train your ab wall in all directions. Decline sit-ups, hanging leg raises, cable     pull down crunches.

          - Add calories gradually within the next 6 months of your building phase. 

3. Have a plan. Build your core, diet & train. 

Most importantly remember that its not just cardio, diet & crunches. Find something you love and train like an athlete. Train to that intensity and you will be sure to get abs. I eventually did.
