Eat This, Not that
You've been spending all of winter, working on that summer bod you set out to have. You've been focused on your health and fitness.
Now that summer is here, how can we make healthier choices as we partake in all those summer BBQs, vacations, picnics, etc.? I suggest you swap some of the known favorites for a healthier version. Also, it is vital you stay on your fitness wagon so that those extra calories you'll be consuming (which is normal since you'll be partying and having fun) won't make you steer too far away from your goals.
Eat this not that.
Pizza- High in refined carbs, sodium and fat.....Opt for a cauliflower pizza crust instead.
Potato Chips- Processed, high fat, causes belly......eat sweet potato chips. You can slice your own thin potato bake for a couple minutes and voila.
Eat this: Beef Kabob ( 175 cals, 6g fat, 23 g protein)
Not that: Hot Dog: (365 calories, 24 g fat)
Eat this: Guacamole w/ veggies. Guacamole is loaded with omega-3, and viatmins ( 96 cals, 8 g fat,2 g protein)
Not That; Salsa with chips. Chips have no nutritional value. (338 cals, 17 g fat, 5 g protein)
Eat this; Vodka or gin with tonic. (169 cals, 0 g fat, 0 g protein)
Not that: Margaritas (600 cals, 0 g fat, 0 g protein)
