Fall Lattes

You all know PUMPKIN has a special place in my heart. There’s something about the flavor and the coziness; it just screams fall! Unfortunately, I know not everyone shares my love for pumpkin so I whipped up some different flavor lattes for you all to try!( yes there is a pumpkin b/c I just had to.)

Fall Spice Latte

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of espresso

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • 4 oz water

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)

Directions:

Combine the vanilla and maple syrup in a mug and set aside.

Combine the espresso and pumpkin pie spice and brew the coffee however you prefer, using only 4 oz of water to get a strong brew.

Heat the in a saucepan until hot and steaming, but not boiling. Use an immersion blender to beat the milk until frothy. Or, add the hot milk to a regular blender and blend (carefully!) until frothy. Or, put the milk in a glass jar with a lid, screw the top on and shake until frothy. Microwave, uncovered, about 30 seconds until hot.

Add the hot coffee to the mug and stir to dissolve the sweetener. Pour in the milk and spoon the foam on top.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve. * Whipped Cream Optional*
